In the process of removing and replacing the RS hydro unit on my 2005 Grasshopper 618, and wondered what all has to be removed to get the hydro out. I notice the hydro is mounted to a bracket, is it possible to remove the hydro from the bracket or do you have to remove the hydro with the bracket? Also do you have to remove the park brake pivot bar to gain clearance to remove the hydro? Any suggestions or short cuts I would really appreciate. I am very mechanically inclined, but I would like to know the best way to get this hydro out, have not done one before, and would like to learn from someone else's experience. Thanks!
