My Murray riding mower is about 18 yrs old. I finally (had to) replace the ring gear on the flywheel. Got it all back together and gave it a quick test start....starter worked wonderfully. Shut it off to finish up, now it won't start! Sounds like it's not getting any spark. Not sure, I am nor

Check all your harness connections. Sound like one is unplugged. Also check your grounding. Good luck.
I've looked over soon the wiring...looks intact. Grounding? What should I be looking for...?
Also, if my sperm plug was out on the bench while all this work was being done, could the spark plug getting banged around have caused a problem?
