My lawn looks good except for one spot where a couple of trees shade it. I've tried several types of grasses, but none have grown in that one spot. Is there any type of grass that really grows in shady areas? I'd even be interested in knowing if there is any type of low-growing plant that would grow there.
Hostas might be good for part of it. Are there any shade-loving vines or low-growing plants that I could plant, too? It's in an area where we normally walk, so I'd at least need to keep a pathway through it. If there's anything that would grow there that could be walked on, it would be perfect.
