I have a14 hp opposed twin 400707-1221-01 the spring retainer on governor gear is missing parts list does not show one but manual does retainer goes between governor cup and governor gear where can I get one
Check this parts breakdown for you engine. I think the retainer you are is item number 615, part number 94296. You should be able to get one through your local repair shop.
