Buying Advice Gold Series 10420

Does anyone know anything about the gold series 10420 model?
I saw one for sale on craigslist for $150. Is this a good deal? Does it have an aluminum deck?
Would this be a good mower for my son to use to cut the 5 lawns he has in the neighborhood?

I have a 1994 model 10415 -- it's almost the same mower. Mine is not self-propelled, so I can't comment on that mechanism -- if the 10420 even has that.

Mine has a very sturdy alloy deck and the engine is excellent. It isn't nice looking but, after a little work, it runs fine. I paid $30 to a seller from CL. The wheels are wobbly -- check that on yours -- a common problem, but not too serious. I found a parts mower for that and a few other things for $25. :thumbsup:

I think the $150 price may be too high -- unless it's in excellent condition.
