I have had a Gizmow 61" ZTR for about 10 years with no problems until now. The center spindle has finally gone bad, and I need to try to find a replacement. The Gizmow part number for the spindle assembly is H18055.20200520_175105_1000W.jpg
Someone suggested that a Great Dane spindle might work. My spindle looks very much like the Great Dane LX spindle D18030 (Oregon 82-328). If I can't find the exact replacement, does anyone have experience with trying to adapt a spindle that may not be an exact match?
Thanks,
Charlie

In case anyone else runs into this, I did finally get the spindle replaced. The Oregon spindle #82-328 (Great Dane part # D18030) worked fine. The Oregon (Great Dane 18083) pulley also worked. I ordered three spindles and pulleys, but the fit was so close that I replaced only the center one and left the other two as spares. It surely is nice to be back in business with a good 61" mulching mower again. I knocked off a couple of acres this morning. Now I can even safely mow the back side of my dam again, but not today.20220717_131748_1000W.jpg
If I'm lucky, maybe it will keep on running for another 12 years, and by then, I hope someone will have come up with another mower as good as the Gizmow.
Charlie
