My father in law has a generator that has been giving us issues. The engine starts just fine with the choke on. Once it starts running and I set it to run, the engine runs for 10 seconds. Progressively it throws more and more smoke, then dies after about 10 seconds of running.
Carb has been cleaned, gas is fresh, not certain where else to go.
