Gas snake

I just thought I'd post this to show what can happen to a gas line if it sets too long with gas in it.





Funny thing, when it picked up off the shop floor, it left a black stain. My brother asked me what was on the floor. I told him that's what carb cleaner does to cottonmouth snakes. He believed me.

I find non chlorinated brake parts cleaner works better on them than carb cleaner:laughing::laughing:

The look on his face when I pointed to the carb cleaner was priceless.


If I'm not mistaken, old gas, before ethanol, wasn't real good on gas lines either. If they sat long enough.
