gas in my oil

I HAVE A CRAFTSMAN DLS3500 20 OHV MOWER,I CLEANED THE TANK,LINES BOWL AND FLOAT.CRANKED RIGHT UP 30SEC.AND THE NEW OIL WAS FUL OF GAS.ANY HELP OUT THERE.PLEASE AM DISABLED MOWER 3YRS.OLD CANNOT JUST BUY A NEW ONE.THANKS BUTCH.WAITING FOR ANY KIND OF HELP......

severely worn pistons and/or piston rings

another possibility is your carb float/needle assembly is not shutting off the fuel supply from the gas tank and the gas is slowly pouring directly into the cylinders even when the engine is off

Definitely float/needle/seat issue. Check the float for holes, replace needle and seat. Should solve your problem.
