Whoever has a Deere database, can u tell me how much trans fluid the G100 tractor K66C(at least that's what I found online) transmission holds?
I find conflicting numbers online - 1 quart 2 quart, 1 drain bolt, 2. I drained mine and it takes 1 quart and upon shaking the tractor, I see the fluid sloshing around so it IS full(after driving it varying speeds to purge air).
TIA.

And it looks like the drain only partial drains this version of the Tuff Torq K66 unit. The fill cap is for a dry unit.

Maybe park on the side of a hill when I change it next time?!?!?.... Maybe I would have to do what I did on another deere trans - drill\tap new drain plugs to fully drain it.
THANKS!!!
*UPDATE*
Looking underneath the trans, I found some numbers and looking up pictures of the numbers I found, it is NOT a K66 trans after all. From a video I found, It is a K62 and it DOES have 2 drain bolts, so now to change the other side...
btw, why don't they just put a small hole at the bottom between the gear and pump sides so it only needs 1 drain bolt???
