fuel leak

i have a 1976 lawn boy 7265 with d601 engine ..went out to garage this morning smelled gas .carb is leaking on bottom where the little spring /screw is located.whats up guys any ideas .i

Two things you need to fix that issue.

1. 681077 - dump valve assembly

2. 608801 - replacement fuel bowl gasket

You should be able to order these parts from any Lawnboy dealer, or from eBay.

You're welcome. You won't have to remove the carb if you have a right angle phillips, or a very short one. Be careful tightening the four screws back. That plastic carb body is easy to strip. I've done it.
