I have the opportunity to buy a used edger for a good price. However it says it’s an fs70r but I can only find them in the trimmer forms. Can an edger gearbox be put onto a trimmer engine and shaft or was this a mixup from factory?

Stihl makes the FS70R into edger and rename the model to FC70C.
