Was cutting tall weeds and clogged up the trimmer head a few times. Now as you trim anything, the trimmer bogs down and even though the motor is still running the trimmer head will not rotate.

use a t-27 torx tipped wrench and remove the gearhead, just 1 fastener to loosen. See if the gearhead is bad/stripped, see if the driveshaft is still intact.
Here is a pic of the gearhead.
I have removed the gearhead not sure how the string/line reel is attached to the gearhead. May just need some pressure to pop it off. Just trying not to break something. It seemed like there is something keeping the head from moving freely. It rotates but not very smoothly/freely. Sorry, not sure this description helps much.

Yeah, some of them have a tight grip on the shaft, I usually use a screwdriver to spread the metal/clamp surface a bit, just don't go too much.
