FS 38 won't stay running

I have an FS38 trimmer and had starting problems. I replaced the carburetor. It will start and run on choke, but dies when I switch the choke of it dies. I adjusted the jets per the manual but still the same. I played with the adjustment but still nothing. Spark arrestor is clean.

Did you replace it with a Stihl carb, or an aftermarket one.
It sounds like you should richen up the mix, you need to remove the limiter caps to dial it in.
Also inspect the fuel line and filter, and make sure you have clean fresh fuel.

I had an After market on there, but replaced it with a stihl....running good now.
