Can anybody recommend any fruit trees I can grow on my personal property in upstate New York other than the typical apple. I know citrus is out most likely, but what about something like cherries or pears ?
Both cherries and pears should be fine to grow in your type of climate. You might also try plums though they might not be as successful and the cherries or pears.
