Hello....
Have a Cub Cadet LX46 FAB (46") 23HP Kawasaki Lawn Tractor with a FR691V engine.
Tractor has only 60 hours on it.
I am trying to "dial in" the throttle (speed from idle to full throttle) Kawasaki service manual says idle @ 1,500 and high
3,600 RPMs
Does Cub Cadet change the idle speed to higher? .... like 2,200 RPMs ????
When I adjust the throttle cable housing to where the high speed tab hits the high speed lock nut and screw limit (still set from
the factory) the engine will run at 3,600 RPMs However there is not enough movement in cable to have the low speed tab
hit the stop screw (still set from the factory) falls short by 1/2" and tractor idles at 2,200 RPMs
I can adjust the cable to idle at 1,500 but can't get to the 3,600!!!
