First time poster: Mystery Broyhill sprayer (and did I screw up?)

First time poster here with a question (and a hope I didn't screw something up)

Purchased this Broyhill sprayer to use behind my 1968 IH Cub Cadet 105. Not sure of its past history, and I have tried to find information on it everywhere with no luck. Has anyone seen this kind before? I don't even know a model number or a basic year.

What it does have is a 3 HP Briggs and Stratton. I set out to change the oil and spark plug, but I put the oil in the wrong spot. You will notice on one of the pictures the part where the oil comes out; however, I put the oil in the tube that has the square top to it —*and then noticed the oil filler on the other side of the engine. I am really hoping both of those places go to the same spot.

Please let me know if you are familiar with this sprayer, and if I put oil where it was not supposed to go.

Thanks,
Brian

Both oil plugs go to the same place, so you are OK. They make them that way just in case the mounting location prevents getting to the filler hole on one side you can use the other side.

OK thanks for confirming that. I thought that was the case because it looked like they went to the same place, but just wanted to make sure.
