Hi, new to the forum

I have a Toro Z147 zero turn mower that uses a FH610V-B06 19HP Kawasaki engine.
The carburetor float valve seat went bad and is not serviceable. The current carburetor M/N is 15003-7020 but is no longer available. I have tried local repair shops and the internet and cannot find one. My local dealer repair tech said the engines are the same between the 19HP to 25HP (FH601V, FH641V, FH680) models. According to him, the difference is in the carb. So I looked at the different engine model numbers and found that carburetor 15003-7079 is still available and is used on the FH680V-B06 23HP motor. They seem use the same carb gaskets and intake-Pipe so should bolt up.

Has anyone else heard these motors (FH601V, FH641V, FH680) are the same?
Is the -B06 represent the series?
Does anyone have any experience swapping carbs from a different engine within the same series?

Thank You
Carl

I can't seem to find out what Jets are currently in my 15003-7020.
Would I use the jets from the current 15003-7020 carb?

Thanks
Carl

Ckerch,
Were you able to find a solution for a replacement carburetor for the 15003-7020 carburetor? I also have the same model and cannot find an exact replacement for the carb on my Kawasaki FH601V-BS06 engine.

If your carb is NLA, get a Chinese one off Amazon or Ebay. I'm into real OEM parts but when they are not made anymore.......

This a Chinese one on Ebay. It is a replacement for the Kawasaki 15003-7041, 15003-7077. Mine has the 15003-7020. They look the same. Maybe a jet replacement would be necessary? Unsure if there are any other differences?

Get the Chinese carb. Go through it making sure the float seals at 7psi for 30 minutes. Float swings proper. Or rob the Chinese parts you need and install in the OEM Kawi.
