I had bought a new is600z a few months ago. Its doesn't strip as good as I would like. Can I drop it down any. Seems like its not making contact with the grass to fold the blades over. I felt under the deck and there were holes a half inch lower. Anyone drop their stripping kit lower?

Does that is600z have a Ferris striping kit installed?? What type is it(rubber flap on rear of deck, roller at back of engine compartment, etc)? It "sounds like" the rubber flap type, so is it "adjustable" where it mounts to the deck. It also "sounds like" you have already determined it can be lowered. If the dealer installed it I would check with them.

I dropped it yesterday and it did a better job then before. I cut at 3 inches. Started collecting with a accelerator side catcher. Looks great

Well it wasn't so easy. Couldn't lift it up because my jack wasn't big enough to lift it to get under it:( so it took a hour to try and reach under it and find where the nuts were Forsythe going to buy a mojack in the near future:)

Yep...MoJack or the very similar one at Harbor Freight(a lot of users are happy with the HF model). A definite MUST for a new ZTR owner(......yeah, I KNOW a lot of users have "other methods" for lifting their ZTR's:0)
