Ferris IS3000 Hydro Issue

Joined the forum becuase I have a Ferris IS3000 ZTR that I've been using and recently started to have a few issues with it. It would appear I'm having a slight hydrolic issue as I can see fluid leaking but can't find exactly area its coming from. I've taken the time to trace it to what I believe is the main culprit. When I press the right handle forward or backward the right wheel moves and is very strong, but the left does not work at all or will only work every now and again but even then its very weak. I noticed that one of the hydrolic pumps under the seat is leaking pretty decently as it had a lot of crude built up. If you were sitting on the mower the leak is coming from the right side hydrolic pump. I've pulled both wheel cylinders out and could find nothing leaking from them; I didn't remove the lines just pulled the cylinders out intact and put them back in. Cleaned that up but can't see that great; I did see the drip on the ground where I parked and looks like its coming from that pump. I'm not all that familiar with these kinds of systems and wanted to know what the best way to diagnose and repair this. I'd like to know if I can rebuild this myself, if I'll have to buy a completely other unit or if I just have to change the fluid and filter. I have the filter and fluid already as I wanted to change it soon but then this came up and I didn't want to waste the fluid. Mower has 900hrs on it and the gas motor has been rebuilt. Starts great and has plenty of power in that aspect and the right drive wheel has great power only the left being the issue.

Well finally was able to get a friend with a flash light to help look around and I believe he found the issue, it appears that the return line for the right hand pump is leaking right where it comes out of the back of the pump. I can't exactly see if its from the adapater or from the hose and clamp. I'm going to change the fluid and filter and pull the pump out to inspect that fitting. I'm not quite sure why the left hand pump is the one not working correctly but today after playing with it for a bit I was able to see that the fluid was starting to foam up while I tried to get it to move. We shall see what happens after I change the fluid and filter and fix either the adapter or return line. I'm just hoping its something this simple because the pumps and cylinders are expensive and the machine worked amazing up until that side stopped. Compared to the walk behind this thing is so much quicker and easier to use plus its wider, 48" to 61"!
