Ferris IS 1500Z Belt Question

Today while mowing the drive belt that provides power to the hydros came off. Got the belt back on but it needs to be replaced. After getting the belt back on the mower did not seem to have the same power. Almost felt like the brake was half way on but it was not. Any ideas or suggestions. Thanks.

The belt must have been loose for it to come off. It is stretched/worn or not tensioned correctly. If it still has life left in it then it needs tensioning correctly. If it is worn or loose it needs replacing, that would be why it feels like there is no power.
