I have a ferris 1000Z machine model: 5901004.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with installing a new engine on these. Meaning are there any budget engines out there that will fit well without too much modification?

Measure outside diameter & length of your Kawasaki engine crankshaft at PTO with caliper & give them a call before ordering with all information from old Kawasaki Engine data plate.
