I am a homeowner in Wisconsin looking to buy my first zero turn for my new 2.8 acre lot. The mower will be used strictly for my residence.
I have a dealership about 1/4 mile away from my house that sells Hustler brand mowers and another dealer about 8 miles away that sells Ferris brand mowers. I have read many good reviews of each on this forum. I am the type of buyer who likes to buy once and cry once, focusing on high quality equipment that wil last with regular maintenance. I am hoping you can help me make the decision.
Is it worth a few hundred dollars for the higher end components of the 800? How much do you think it is worth to have a dealership in ery close proximity to your house for maintenance issues.
I am handy but a novice when it comes to small engines. I have a power sprayer for cleaning the deck and am able to perform basic maintenance.
I appreciate any help!
