Ferris 3100Z leaking

My Ferris 3100Z is leaking oil from the left wheel motor. The motor is a Parker and has two long numbers on the tag. I've looked for a seal/o-ring kit for it but can't find one. Anybody know where to find a kit for it? Thanks, gregjo1948

Pull the motor and remove the seal, there should be a number on it for replacement , I'd get 2 so you'll have a spare

I already have the motor out and have numbers off it. It has an oil seal over the axle and several O-rings within the sections of the motor. I'm trying to find the seal and the O-rings. Quite sure I could get the seal separately but, I need the O-rings and probably they all come as a kit.

Not sure what size the o rings are but an O ring kit may have one you can replace it with ,
I've had to build o rings in the past with o ring stock and superglue when push comes to shove

Hope I don't need to make them as, there are about 6 of them.

what size is the largest one ? If it's under 2 inches in diameter , the O ring kit will probably have it

It is a heck a lot easier to look-up thing when the OP actually posts the model and serial numbers from the serial number tag because there is at least 30 variation of the IS3100Z out there plus some even have serial number breaks that affect which parts are used.

Just for your info--I sent Parker all the numbers off the tag on the Parker wheel motor and the number that was stamped into the housing. This isn't my first time looking for parts. I didn't ask for the part number for the kit. I just ask where I could get a seal kit. It shouldn't matter what "variation" the mower is. Did you learn how to read or do you just guess at what's there?

I want a seal/O-ring kit. There is a seal and several O-rings in these motors. The outer seal on the axle wasn't leaking, but I'll replace it while I'm in there.

The Orings are probably around 4"

Dude, If you have the nerve to say that to the most knowledgable person on this forum, then get the hell out of here. We will not help you. Sorry, but we can't flip a switch and magically fix a problem. Idiots like you need to rethink your actions and have a little patience.
I think people in general need to be a bit more patient, a bit thicker skin, and a bit more respectful. The internet is a wonderful tool if used properly, however, the name calling and insults seem to come easier online versus an actual face to face conversation.

I'm usually quite patient and can take criticism but when someone insults me and calls me an idiot, I draw the line. I agree with you about the internet being a great tool and I enjoy the forums found on here. I won't say anything on a forum that I wouldn't say to someone's face, and I wouldn't use profanity on here unless I was quoting what someone had said.

When I try to look up things it does take the equipment actual model numbers. It appears that some of the IS3100Z used the Parker TG Torq motors.

So this is what is supposedly in the seal kit.

Redacted info.

Info redacted due to the OP attitude. But thanks for adding info to my database as I now have both the Parker and the aftermarket source part numbers(still the actual Parker kit, just easier to get one from). Also added the Service Manual for these Torq Motors.

Thank you--how can I tell if it's a TG Torq motor?

I definitely not the most knowledgeable person but I do try find the info that others are hunting. And this does requires time to find if I can find it provide I have enough info to work with. When I do it don't only help the ones I trying to help but also helps me out later too.

What members got to remember is that other members are not sitting beside them looking at the problem. And personally I have never seen a Ferris mower in my shop but some JD ZTRs do use Parker hydraulic systems.

Just like the kit needed here that retails for around $134 that I can get within a day or two for around $67 now that I have it noted in my inventory database crossed to the Parker PN and which series it fits. All I now to do is just do a search of the database to find it. Also same can be gotten for as little $36 from another source if the customer is will to wait a few more days.
