I have a old engine on my walk behind. It is really had to pull start it. When I give it some starting fluid, it becomes really easy to pull. Can anyone explain to me why this is. The dealer I was at had no idea with out seeing my mower. Any help would be great

Issue was the guy before me never put a gasket between the carb and engine. And also messed all the bolts up
