I have a 1999 F935 where the PTO just stopped working and kills the unit. When you engage the PTO switch it engages the PTO/brake solenoid and holds into place until it actuates the PTO/Brake switch then drops out and the fuel shutoff disengages killing the engine. I have disconnected the clutch, fuel shutoff, glow plugs, bypassed the seat switch and neutral safety switch, new maintenance brake switch, new PTO/Brake switch, slaved in new solenoid, slaved in new control module, slaved in new PTO switch, checked grounds along with wiring, diodes tested good, tested battery good voltage/charge/CCA's. Put a 10amp and 20amp fuse in place of the 10amp circuit breaker and blew it every time. Every time the solenoid still drops out once the PTO/Brake switch is engaged with everything disconnected or bypassed.
It almost seems like too much power is being pulled.
Any ideas or tips?
