Hey everyone Im new to Lawnboy and Im concerned with the crank tolerance on my 10601. I can move the blade side to side a little bit. Not enough to clunk but enough to tink tink. I have no crank seal leaks and engine runs awsome, starts on first pull. I have inspected pistion through exhaust port and looks brand new no scoring. Im wondering if I should be stocking up on seals and bearings and getting ready to tear down or is this ok till more symptoms.

I have a 10304 with noticeable movement, same as yours there is no leaking I see from the seals, starts and runs great, I'm curious to see what answers you get.

After talking to a few people that own alot of lawnboys I guess the slop is ok. They all have it and nobody seems to concerned with it. A guy on mylawnboyforum.com also said he has 18 lawnboys and said it was no big deal. I think thats good enough for me.

Works for me also, my mower runs great, it's just a little disconcerting to see that movement.
