Exmark zero turn stops when it gets hot. Have replaced coils. Will start after 10 minutes. Have had dealer look at it three times with no luck. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
https://exmark.com/Products/Lazer_Z_X-Series/Pdfs/4500-735.pdf Page 50, fails to keep running. For starters check air and fuel filters, replace if necessary. Take your time doing this, hands on, check all electrical connections, inspect all wiring,
fuses, relays, ignition switch plug from wire harness as well as all plugs from harness. Look for hot spots at connections as well as melted plastic. Make sure all connections are tight and secure, not chafing creating a bare wire, and lastly make sure all ground cables and wires are tight and secure.
Oh, so the engine is a Exmark? You had to have the correct brand/engine/spec. numbers to replace the coils, unless you got the wrong ones because you wouldn't supply the correct info .....
If you won't at least try to help us help you, why would/should we even bother?
If you had the dealer replace the coils, well, they should be the ones trying to figure out this, what engine you have, and how to fix it and all......
