I am torn in between the two. My major concern is clumping in wet grass in the North. I would like to know if any one on here has had the chance to try both or at least one of the mowers in wet long northern grass.
Also, I am new to the big mower decks. How would a 48" perform on smaller lawns where I could fit it? 5-7 k properties. I am mainly concerned about cutting steep hills and bumps. Will the deck scalp on the crest of the hill and miss the grass in the bottom of the hill? This may sound like a weird question, but I have only used 30" and 21" mowers.
