I've got the chance to buy this mower I've been looking for awhile now but it's not actually what I want it's not ecs controls and it's got the old style kawasaki fb420v but it good enough kinda rough shape and does not run but has a sulky I can't figure out what I want to pay Tho lol is 1,000 enough or not enough it's at a auction I think for the condition it's in that's all it's worth maybe I'm wrong any advice??

Looks a little beaten up! It would help to clean it, that could help a lot. Try and see what is wrong with it and how many hours it has.

I think $1000 is too much for that mower. Maybe a grand if it was running, has ECS controls, and was cleaned up to tell if it had any leaks. You might be looking at a money pit.

Ok thanks ill let you guys know if I end up buying it or not it's at a auction tho so there's nothing saying I'm gonna be able to buy it or not ill try and bid on it and win it but people are stupid and over pay for things and don't think about the bigger picture of what it's worth they just bid will see where it goes

I don't know about that, but if you're willing to put so much money into this mower, then why not just buy a new one?

Not sure on ecs. It could be a decent machine. I personally wouldn't pay more than 750 for it. Tho I would just sell it for 2000 after I cleaned and tuned it up

Well lets see? It's not exactly what you want, it has the old style Kawasaki that doesn't run and it's it rough shape and you have no idea what wrong with it or how much or if it can even be fixed or not. What's wrong with this picture? Have you looked at the belts, how about spindles, do the hydro's even work? I think I'd stay totally away from that thing.

It's at auction I went and looked at it everything is in decent shape other than It could be washed and painted up it was repossessed by the bank and that's why it's at this auction they weren't able to start it but that could just be because the don't know how to start it every thing is in pretty good shape other than its really dirty

These are some more pics like I said I thinks It's just dirty and needs some tlc and I have plenty engines like that I just don't know about the pumps that's why scares me
