Exmark Radius E - Neutral Knob is Stripped

Folks, I was just mowing my yard when I threw my drive belt because of a stick. The belt is wedged way up in there and totally came of the hydro (somehow, it went over the fan too).

Anyway, I wanted to get her down to the driveway where I can work on it, but when I tried to unscrew one of the plastic knobs to put it in neutral, I found it was stripped. The question is, if I chisel off the plastic knob, what will I find? Is there a hex head or something I can put a tool on?

Thanks!

Update: I took the other neutral knob off and see that's it's just a captive nut embedded in the plastic.

It doesn't matter now though. I got the belt back on, but it wasn't easy sitting on a wet lawn. Also, the belt didn't come around the fan. It was just hidden up in there.

I hope it didn’t damage the fan blades.

The blades look good. A few scuff marks but nothing more.

What's frustrating is that I used a Cub 2165 for 25 years without ever popping off a belt from sticks. I've done it twice with my Radius in the last month.
