Hello all, would like some opinions on these 2 mowers.I will be cutting 1 to 5 acres with this mower and would like to know which mower is the best bang for the buck?

The gravely pro turn 60 has the Kawasaki engine it.The Exmark pioneer 60 has a Kohler zt740 engine in it and I know that the Koehler engines had some problems with them.Did they get the issues resolved with the Kohler engines?i like the features on the Exmark better over the gravely.Which mower would you buy and why?

That is a tough question to ask. You will get very different opinions on this site from everyone. You are comparing two well built mowers. The gravely has the fs series kawasaki engine, but the exmark has larger zt3400 hydros and holds 7 gallons of fuel compared to the gravely's 6. You should test them both and go with the mower you like best.

If you want to most bang for your buck you should expand your search. There are many great mower brands out there (such as hustler/big dog, kubota, ferris/snapper pro, scag, bob cat, country clipper, Husqvarna, grass hopper, john Deere, etc). Find out what you have available in your area and test them all. You may be able to get a larger fuel capacity, or a better power train on another brand for the same money (such as an fx series Kawi, or vanguard with zt3400 or zt4400 hydros).

Asking others on this site which is the best mower is going to be an opinion based on what they have or have used, and may not be experienced with other brands you are looking at. You won't be able to get as fair a comparison as you would if you tried them out yourself. All of the major brands offer similar components. Some just have a better price than others and have better dealers in certain areas. You should also look at the dealer as well. Dealer support is important.

It's a very good mower. Exmark has a great reputation in the zero turn mower business. If you take good care of that mower it should last you a very long time. Keep us updated as you start using it and post some pictures if you can.

Congrats on your new mower. Your post is almost exactly the same as mine a year ago. I went with the exmark pioneer s 60 as well. Actually had Koehler command pro 27hp. I felt the features (better hydros, bigger tires/wheel base, ultra 4 cutting deck, tank, etc.) that were at a commercial mower level gave me the features I wanted in a mower I want to last. Have an awesome dealer as well 10 min away. Second year with my exmark and I am totally happy with my decision. I did add the full suspension seat. Make a huge difference over stock seat in comfort of ride. Let us know how it does for you. Pics are great as well.

Great looking mower. Like I'm looking at mine actually. Have 23 hours on mine now after one year. I still wipe it down, get under the deck with snapper, and park it inside after each use.

Exmark mowers are quality machines. Hope you enjoy it for years to come. Looks like your dog will need a lift to be able to pee on the wheel. lol

Boy 'o boy...that's a machine! Congratulations on your purchase.

BTW,
I really like the new Gravely Compact Pro in 44" deck size. They are asking 65 hundred for it.
