I need to purchase some new blades for my mower and I need a little advice on whether I should buy normal lift or high lift blades. The Phaser has a 19HP Kawasaki engine. I've read that high lift blades take more power from the engine to run.

I have the exact same mower that you do running hi-lift blades with no problems. I get a lawn cut that's out of this world; nice and level with no un-eveness what-so-ever.
