Does anyone have the new Lazer Z-X mower with the EFI and E-Gov? I just got a 72" LZX980EKC726 and I was told that one of the "Big" things about it is that the throttle is fully automatic with the Egov. If I go up a hill, the throttle is supposed to kick in and rev more, or if I go through thick grass. Its supposed to sense it right away and raise the RPMs. I used it for the first time yesterday and was pretty dissapointed. I was able to use it on a new clients 6 acre lot whose grass was about a foot and a half tall. The whole time I was mowing, It bogged down like crazy, was barely cutting, and when i'd go up a hill it'd bog down even more, Now the throttle did kick in, but it did it way too late, I'd go up the hill and right when I got to the top and was ready to turn around, it'd kick in. I tried going really slow and it still did the same thing. it has a 990CC engine, but it runs worse then my 2005 LZ60KC27, 60" Exmark lazer Z with 27HP. I had another guy using that in the same lawn and he wasn't bogging down at all. Any thoughts? not sure if the EGOV can be adjusted to kick in sooner or what, but i'm really disappointed at this point.
the mower is really nice for regular lawns at least (Lawns that aren't a foot and a half tall) but any lawn I did with a thick patch of grass it would bog down, kick in too late, and not cut the grass at all even when slowing way down.
