Exmark Belt Stuck

So I was mowing through some thick grass and wood brush from a field that had been cleared with a forestry attackment (yes, I know a bush hog would've been better). Anyway, the belt seems to have gotten pushed below the pulley. The last time this happened I had to cut the belt off to replace it, and since it needed to be replaced anyway it was fine, but this time, the belt is fine. What is the easiest way to fix this without taking too much apart?

I think your one option is to remove the top belt and then remove the idler pulley that the belt is stuck under.

My 50 cents worth...........be sure to check the belt for cuts....that's a tight space to squeeze through.

Yeah, the previous advice about removing the pulley sounds best, and the belt is likely damaged, be prepared with a new replacement. I would also suggest a simple bracket on the lead side of the pulley to help prevent future occurrences.
