I had a Dealer that sells Both Ex Mark & Toro, tell me that Ex Mark owns Toro, that a Toro ZTR is about the
same as a Ex Mark, Do any of you know anything about if this is True?

Thanks for Your Input

Your dealer is wrong, Exmark is one of the brands of the Toro Company. Maybe this will be of help.

User Rivets is spot on......it was Toro that bought out Exmark(some feel to eliminate the competition that Ex-Mark represented). As I understand it a LOT of the components between the two brands is now the same except for the decks and maybe some of the trannies). But most still believe that the Ex-Mark Ztr's are better quality than the Toro. I'm not convinced:0)

Well, we all hope that your business grows to the point where you will have the money to go after some of those big contracts and get you a Toro Z-Master to take them on!!!!!

Yes Rivets, Thanks for the Info: DJ none of the Ones in the Business have to Worry about ME taking on any
of the Big Cutting Jobs, I am Retired & Just watching & Listing to what You'll say about Different ZTR Mowers, You & I have visited about Different ZTRs Before, I am the Guy that has 2 JD Mowers, 1 is a JD LT 445 ( 60 in.Cut) & a JD LT
166 w/ 46" cut, both over 10 years Old, only have avout 4 Ac. to keep up, have to have the smaller mower
to get in tight place, At some point i will get a 52 or 54 in. ZTR and retire the JDs, Will Not even Think about a JD Because of the CHEAP Plastic skin on these that I Have, Have had Both since NEW, Big Mower has 680 Hr. But to Look at the Mowers
they LOOK to be a 100 Years OLD, any way when i buy a ZTR it will be one close to the TOP< > DJ you & i have visited
about the Gravely, & i really like the Looks of them, But the Dealer is just to far away, 35 miles 1 way. where the Toro/ Ex Mark
Dealer is 15 Miles away, i will either buy at the end of the season or durning the winter, I will see If CASH TALKS, i would think
that they may want to get some off the Floor & Out the Door, we will see,

Thanks again Guys,
PS: Rivits when i get ready to Pull The Triger I will Run it By You Before I BUY

What "series" of Toro & Ex-Mark ZTR's are you looking at??? I really like the Toro Titan high-end Residental series as well as the Z- Master 2000 Commercial series for the money they cost. I think the comparable Ex-Marks are overpriced(but are very good machines).

DJ I think it would be either a Ex Mark Lazer E Series Priced at 7500 or the Toro Z Master also priced at 7500, I
Have't Made a cash Offer Yet on either one, they both have the Kawasaki engine with the Heavy duty air clearner, sure wish the Gravely Dealer were closer, I am in no hurrto buy, unless something major would happen to my main Mower, the JD LT 445, & I dont see that Happening, it only has as of today 696 HR. it is Powered by a Water cooled Kawasaki, I will most likely Keep this Mower because it use it in the fall with a Cyclone Rake to pick up the Leaves from our 18 Pecan Trees, That is unless i can figure out a way to hook it up to a ZTR,

I hear ya....I struggled with the Gravely Pro-Turn 100XDZ and the Toro Z-Master, but the Gravely dealer accepted my offer of $6,800 out-the-door so that made it a no-brainer:0)
