Engine replacement

Hello, Looking for a used replacement engine for a John Deere walk behind 7H19. Recoil start. Any info appreciated, including part #'s and substitute engines that will work. Located in Connecticut. Thanks in advance. Frank

If you don't want to go that route and use a Briggs or Kohler
You need to be sure the engine has a 1"Dx3-5/32"L crankshaft,
most mounting patterns are standard, and be sure it has a charging alternator, also exhaust ports should be considered.
