New member here and need a little help. I recently purchased a new engine for my husqvarna mzt61. I google searched my engine code, 49t877-0006-g1, and a viable option for replacement that popped up was the 49t877-0024-g1. After ordering the engine and swapping it out for the old one, I ran into my problems. Unbeknownst to me at the time, the new engine's shaft diameter is 1" and the length is 3 5/32" whereas the old engine's shaft diameter is 1 1/8" and the length is 4 5/16". My problem is the drive pulley and pto clutch from my old engine will not work on my new engine. My local briggs & stratton and husqvarna dealers haven't been able to help me figure out which pulley and clutch I need. I've attempted to search myself online but no results so far. Does anyone know which clutch and pulley I need? Or does anyone know which zero turns that exact engine comes on? Sorry for the long winded post. Any and all help or suggestions will greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Looks like the replacement engine should of been a 49T877-0004-G1 instead of the 0024-G1

Yea after further research once I discovered my mishap, I've found that a few models would've been an exact replacement without having to change pulley and clutch. I could go through the hassle and cost of shipping the engine back plus whatever restocking fee I'm charged then order an exact replacement, or I can try to find the correct pulley and clutch for that engine. I figured I'd try option #2 first and if all else fails option #1 will still be viable.
