I have a John Deere l100 that when I mow with it after just about 3 or 4 minutes it kinda backfires and I do notice a little oil by the fuel pump, If you let it keep running it will straighten out and mow fine . then when you slow the engine down it lets off a little smoke but when you drive it to the shed and slow it down it acts like it s dieseling and continues to run. I have had people tell me its the gas a coil and valve guides. It is a briggs 17 horsepower single cyclinder motor. Any help would be appreciated . Thanks Butch
