I have a cub cadet, gt1554, and recently the wires broke at the clutch. i dropped the clutch and re-soldered the wires back together tested it out and it works again. But the issue im running into now is when i mount the clutch, the whole thing over rotates. Before i removed the clutch there was some rotational movement with it but it would stop. Now it rotates to the point where it will hit the tie rod and it never did that before. I removed the clutch again to inspect it the key and the washer are there but its the same thing. i checked to see if it was supposed to have a belt guard to help lock it into place, but cub cadet says there isn't one. Im kinda at a loss right now, i figured something in the clutch broke when i removed it and the clutch may need to be replaced but i was wonder if anybody else has had this happen to them? I don't want to spend the money on a new clutch if its another issue but i don't see what else would cause it. Any ideas or insight would be appreciated.
