I am having trouble with the blade quitting after running the mower for a time. It will start up and the blade engages as normal, then the blade shuts off after some mowing. I let it sit for 20=30 minutes and it will engage again. It the electric clutch bad? How do you tell? Any suggestions on how to repair would be appreciated. I can turn a wrench, but diagnosing electrical gremlins is not my strong suit. By the way, I bought the mower used and the wiring is a mess under the seat. Really cobbled together. It will occasionally burn the blade fuse as well.
Hands on -inspect all wiring and connections for corrosion, exposed wires, wires chafing, possible burn marks at all connections, fuses, relays, wire harness plug connections, making sure all connections are tight and secure, check ground cables and wires for being tight. Take your time doing this, patience pays off. Please let us know what you find and if this helps or not.
