my wires are a mess.can someone please tell me which wires go to the bottom of the float bowl on a 17.5 briggs.i see a black wire from the block and a red one coming from the solenoid.is this where it goes?

is there not 2 wires coming from the carb solenoid there should be a red and a black the black will be the ground and the red should be hot when the key is in the run position

there is a black from the block and a red from the solenoid but they weren't connected.someone gave me the mower cause mice ate the ignition.now I have to figure out how to start this without a ignition.even the black and red from the coil are connected to a plug that I don't no how to wire that.i live in the mountains and these people here would really stick it to me.
