Echo Blower

PB 200

It is possible the blower got submerged during a storm

It ran great before.

Now it wont take the gas and run above idle.

I have changed the gas, rebuilt the carburetor {soaked and installed new kit}.

Cleaned the flywheel, just incase there was something affecting the pickup.

Changed the spark plug.

New bubble pump.

Cleaned fuel filter.

Still will not run above an idle.

what am i missing here?

no I havent. I am going to take a guess here and hope that you mean the muffler?

It's a screen mounted on the side of the muffler. Clean it with a wire brush.

Ric, thanks so much for your advice.

I clean the spark arrester. It was very clogged.

The blower runs like brand new!

Never had to do this before but I may check my other two strokes just in case.

It certainly cant hurt!

Wish i could buy you lunch sometime.

I learned something new.

You can also remove it. If you do please don't lay it down on anything dry and flamable

No problem Randy. The spark arrestor is one of those things that always gets over looked for some reason. I always check for the simply fixes first. I clean mine a couple of times a year.

Yes you can remove it but it's not advisable. A spark arrestor prevents the emission of flammable debris from your mowers engine and shouldn't be removed and in a lot of places their use is required by law.
