i read on this forum somewhere about who makes the dyt4000 mower tractor but can't remember where so maybe someone here can update me once again thanks.

i'm looking for a way to bypass the seat. got to be a way tired of it stopping when i have to move some off the seat.

My guess would be that Husqvarna manufactures that lawn tractor for Sears(they built the Craftsman I previously owned). Below is a link to the Husqvarna website. Look at the lawn tractors and find one that matches the specs on yours. A trip to a local Husqvarna dealer would confirm that they are identical. I'm not much on lt repairs, but I have read many threads on these forums that describe how easy it is to disable the seat cutoff switch. Try using the Forum Search tool....or maybe someone will chime in and give you detail instructions to accomplish what you want.

Just set the brake when you get up--and disconnect the mower blades (push in the button). The mower will keep running when you get off the seat. If the mower is stopping while you're mowing because you're bouncing off the seat, that's another issue.
