I have a red chevy corvette with a big block 454, can you tell me what what year it was built. I know the answer is no. We need more info. Please post the model and serial numbers for both the unit and engine. We can figure it out from there.

There should be a black and silver tag either under the seat or along the frame. Without those numbers it will be very hard to tell you the type of transmission was installed. What kind of transmission is it? Gear shift or hydro?

I only see where a tag has been removed, probably by a high power washer.

It is a gear shift with a right side clutch, strange as that is. The mower does fine in lower gears but 4th and 5th feel like they are slipping. I use 4th to cut the grass and 5th to get back from the back 40. My neighbor uses 1st I think. I'd fall off the mower going that slow due to falling asleep, so boring for me!

If the drive feels like it's slipping in the high gears, maybe it is slipping. You really need to find out how to adjust it. A "Dynamark" could be a Murray or Noma or something else. Too bad the chassis sticker is gone. Why don't you post some pictures of your mower and maybe someone will recognize it and give you some hints.

Most Dynamarks used a peerless transmission and some had spicer. In either case they both had a small tag on the side if the transmission. Can you jack up the unit and see if you can find that tag.
