I have a John Deere GX345 that is about 12 years old. Recently it has started to die when the engine gets hot. I let it cool for 30 minutes or so and it will start right back up and run another 30 or 45 minutes then die again. I replaced the fuel filter but that did no good. Any thoughts on what could be causing this to happen?

Two things come to mind.
Compression test.
Take this matter to the John Deere forum. Better experts there.
Good luck.

:welcome: to the Forum!

I would check for spark. Ignition module is what it sounds like, sometimes they get hot and fail. Then cool off and work until hot again.
