Duraforce motor. Like to get rid of this blade clutch but I'm wondering if the shaft is a special design with this deal? Shorter or splined maybe? Any tips for removal? Thanks.

Compare parts lists for your mower vs non-BBC equivalents. My new BBC mower looks worlds different from non-BBC versions. Sites like Jacks (https://www.jackssmallengines.com) have parts manual pages for your mower. I do know the top is different - the BBC mowers have a taller, massive flywheel (to get more inertia).
