Dura-force 10550 drive problem

When mower is cold it starts fine, but as it heats up I start getting a "scritch, scritch" noise and the SP speed slows down. Has a fresh drive belt, and cleaning and greasing the transmission fixes it for about 30 minutes, This is a rescue that required a few things to fix.
