I have a 2011 LTX1040 with the automatic transmission (not hydro). Drive problem started at the end of the 2nd season, in the fall when I was mulching leaves. It would slow way down when climbing the small bank by the street. The next spring and summer it was OK until fall when the weather got cooler and it didn't want to move on the bank or when turning real short. The next spring, I put a new drive belt on and all was good until now that its cool again and same thing. Now it's out of warranty. I have been able to use it but have stop and start a lot to finish my mulching. I can't see what's going on that well from the operators seat, but it looks like the main drive belt is slipping on the PTO pulley. Anyone have a problem like on one of these or anything else? Thanks for any help.
Sc2400 Your tractor service repair manual, always use Cub Cadet OEM parts. Air tires to specs. Click on full manual, start reading at page 93 regarding drive problem. Let us know what you find, thanks.
