Fastrack 54" super duty
today while mowing my yard the right hand drive suddenly would not go to the full forward position and so I finished mowing sloooowly, reverse still worked as usual. I found the problem. As part of the drive control system there is a rod that connects to an aluminum looking cylinder just under the engine deck, is this a nitrogen gas cylinder that gives control leavers that nice smooth feeling? anyway the nut had come lose that holds the end of that cylinder to the frame. I can't seem to tighten the nut down but i can't fell the bolt turning when i try to hold the bolt from under side and tighten the nut. Should the nut tighten down hard? This didn't fix the problem. And also now and before i tried to tightened the nut, when the drive handles are in the park position the right drive is trying to reverse. It didn't do that before this happened.
